i recently bought tickets with companions to go to macau then since macau is near hongkong we would like to go to hongkong as well.but anyone have any idea how to get from macau to hongkong by ferry or bus or train? we prepare by train and any idea how much is the fare in usd? or u.s dollars. thanks

  1. I went to Macau from Hong Kong about 4 months ago and it was close to 100 Hong Kong dollars each way for a ferry ticket. Macau is similar to Vegas but with all Asians and their is no “strip”, the casinos are spaced out quite a bit. It was fun, I won some money.

El costo para el ferry es de HK $ 142 (EE.UU. $ 18,20) por semana para turborreactores y de HK $ 152 (EE.UU. $ 19,50) para los fines de semana y el servicio a Hong Kong Macao tanto en la terminal de ferrys Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Isla de Hong Kong y China en la terminal de ferrys Tsim Sha Tsui , la Península de Kowloon. Para NWFF, de HK $ 140 (EE.UU. $ 17,95) por semana y de HK $ 155 (EE.UU. $ 19,90) para los fines de semana. Sólo llega a China de Hong Kong sólo la terminal de ferrys. Los tiempos son aprox. 60-75 minutos, dependiendo de varios factores (por ejemplo, tipo de buques, las condiciones climáticas etc) Para otros servicios como trenes y autobuses no es aconsejable su no tan conveniente como el ferry y no hay conexión de tren de Macao a cualquier otra parte del mundo.

  3. we travel thru HK & Macau by boat. here’s their website:–

    it’s a one hour journey / cost u abt USD$20 (or below) per trip. u can purchase ticket on the net or just but it at the pier.

    they runs & open 24 hrs a day with schedule like every 15 mins. (or every 30 mins after late nite)

    v convenience & fast boat. when u arriving HK. u wil be at a bldg named Shun Tak Centre. rite under Shun Tak, it’s our MTR (tube). convenience to go e’where…….
