Macau is a small city, you can take a taxi and get around the whole city within 1.5 hours if the traffic isn't busy! The Airport is on Taipa island and the Ferry Terminal (Jetfoil Pier) is near to the city centre, Sands Hotel and Casino / Mandarin Oriental...etc. google Macau map and check the distance between the airport and the Jetfoil Pier, it is really not so far + the Jetfoil serves to Hong Kong is 24 hours, the frequency is 15 minutes. It takes 1 hour to reach Hong Kong.
